PostGiraffe ("we", "us") is an internal content publishing tool available at app.postgiraffe.com. It is used only by its operator to schedule and publish content to social media accounts that the operator owns or administers. PostGiraffe does not offer public sign-ups.
Contact for any privacy question or request: hello@postgiraffe.com.
Data we access
When the operator connects a social media account through the platform's official authorization (OAuth), PostGiraffe receives only the data needed to publish and measure content for that account:
- Basic account information: account or page ID, name, username and profile picture.
- Access and refresh tokens issued by the platform, used to publish on behalf of the connected account.
- Content we create and publish: text, images, videos, scheduling details and publishing status.
- Aggregated performance metrics of our own posts (for example views, likes, shares), where the platform provides them.
We do not use PostGiraffe to collect personal data about followers, commenters or other users of the platforms.
How we use the data
- To publish and schedule content to the connected accounts.
- To show publishing status and basic performance of our own posts.
We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Sharing
Content is sent only to the social media platform it is published to. Data is not shared with any other third party, except our hosting and network providers that run the service, and when required by law.
Retention
Tokens and account information are kept while an account is connected and are deleted when the account is disconnected. Published content and metrics are kept as long as needed for our own records. Backups are kept for up to 14 days.
Google and YouTube
For YouTube, PostGiraffe uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies. Access can be revoked at any time in Google Account permissions.
PostGiraffe's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data deletion

- Disconnect the account in PostGiraffe; its tokens and account information are deleted.
